Today was awesome!

This was defiantly a bucket list day.
Yes that is a real alligator.
We were at the Antique tractor show in Eldon.
It is held every year at Jozlyns great grandparents home.
This gator is a pet for one of the vendors.
This is the 2nd time we have seen this guy. , we first saw it 4 years ago.
The people take really good care of it.
This is how we started off our day.
We went to the strip in the Lake of the Ozarks area, and took a short helicopter ride.
The video was taken from the front seat by grandson Jeremy.
It was an early Birthday present for Jeremy,

Have a wonderful day and remember to laugh and play.

With all this fun I forgot to do my first post on the Joy diet. So I will have to wait till next Friday. Oops.

No one in this neck of the woods has an alligator for best friend.

Coffee is on.

wow that gator is gorgeous! I took a picture of a fake one swimming in a catfish pond today, LOL!

looks like a great day!

I have never held a gator! Had some to eat once.

Sounds like a perfect day and a great birthday present.

hmm, not sure if I would like to do that. I sat with a chimpanzee once at a Zoo and all the while I was scared stiff.

We don't have Alligators here in Australia, but we do have Crocodiles, which look similar.

Enjoy your Joy Diet!!

The is a lot of Joy in this post. Look at that smile on the gator. He is looking pretty content on your lap. My son would have loved that helicopter ride -- the joy on Jeremy's face is priceless. He looks a lot like my son. I see from a quick look at your blog that you are all about *JOY*

Have a great week.

Hi Grammy,

That is one good looking alligator. I've always wanted a gecko, not sure about that big fella, though.

Thanks for visiting my blog and hope we have fun together on the joy diet.

xoxo

Hi Grammy! Looks like you had an excellent day! I'm so glad we are still on a journey together!

I'm not sure I'm brave enough to hold a live alligator, but it is kind of exciting to know someone who is! :)

Have a great weekend!

I don't know anyone who keeps an alligator as a pet - and I live in Gator country.

Look forward to sharing the Joy Diet journey.

You're brave! I don't think I'd like to hold an alligator!!

What a treat for Jeremy! A helicopter ride on his birthday!! Oh he did have fun!
Can't wait to read about your Joy diet. Sounds good to me.

I think you are very brave to hold that aligator.
I would be scared stiff.

It looks as if you had a wonderful day. I think I would enjoy a helicopter ride much more than holding an alligator.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, especially since it led me to yours! I enJOYed my visit and will leave with a smile on my face.

It's great that you got to hold that guy's alligator! What a cool experience! I don't think I've ever seen one up close -- just at zoos!

Where in Missouri are you? I'm from Arkansas (Mountain Home), although I live in Southern California now.

Wow - I would definitely not want to be that close to that reptile!!
Sounds like a great weekend.
Take care.

Hi! Thanks for dropping by my blog. Just got back from San Diego looking at few houses to lease or buy. Yes, I will still be here at our present home till mid-October.
We are not selling this house and our adult son & daughter will live here. Thanks for your interest on our cookbook. Will send the book when I get your check and home address.

Glad you had a great day! I don't know if I would have been courageous enough to hold the alligator.

You are a brave lady; I'd have passed out if someone handed me a gator! You go girl!

I'm not getting around much - too many blogs, things to do, blah, blah, blah so it was a pleasant surprise having you stop by. Sometimes I need a kick in my butt to get out and visit. Good to see you again.

Not sure I'd want an alligator sitting on my lap but a helicopter ride would make my day.

Hi Grammy,

No thank you, you can have the alligator. I am not a fan of snakes or alligators. LOL

The Helicopter ride was fun. Your grandson will have a day to remember for a long time, the day he, and Grammy, went for a helicopter ride.
Thanks for sharing and inviting us to go along for the fun.

I am scared of alligator. There's a new pond near a mini-shopping close to home. The other night my hubby & I waited by the pond for our pizza. There were many real ducks swimming and a fake alligator head above the pond. I screamed.

Hey this pic of you and the little aligator is so great, can I use this for your portrait on the OTOH thing?
That would be great!

love the shot of you and the alligator! The helicopter ride was amazing too......but I think I would be a bit afraid!
