In my town in Missouri, This would be a weed garden. Because you will find these along the highway growing freely. This is a native prairie garden with a twist. I bought these plants and they are not quite the same as the native ones.
But my purple cone flower is a bit different as it a double decker.
And this Little Shasta Daisy is host to all types of critters.

The tiger Lilly
Now this is my favorite Day Lily My friend Mrs D in St. Louis gave me years ago.
Lily Tree® American Original A cross between a Trumpet lily and an Oriental lily Reaches up 3-4' the first year and up to 6-8' after 3 years.
I plan to get creative and add whimsical thing to my garden. I hope to have a wonderful faerie garden full of magic and Zen in my yard. This will keep me entertained during the hot months of summer . Make sure you use rubber gloves if you try this your self. I have found several recipes and videos. This look like so much fun. Hypertufa containers Recipe #1
3 quarts Portland cement, white or grey 2 1/4 quarts sand, white or grey 4 quarts peatmoss 1 1/2 quarts water
Mix the dry ingredients well. Slowly add water. This mixture doesn't contain as much water as a standard concrete recipe because hypertufa has a more open, porous texture. Therefore add water until the mix resembles a crumbly cookie dough. Press the mix firmly into the mold. Recipe 2
3 quarts Portland cement, white or grey 3 quarts peat moss 3 quarts perlite 1 quart water
Mix the dry ingredients well. Slowly add water. This mixture doesn't contain as much water as a standard concrete recipe because hypertufa has a more open, porous texture. Therefore add water until the mix resembles a crumbly cookie dough. Press the mix firmly into the mold.
Making Leaf's

I started out in life as a little Caterpillar. Learning every thing the hard way By trial and error.
Then I became part of a family unit where I was in charge. But some one forgot to give me the manual on how to live life. I did not even get a crystal ball, to see how things will turn out. So I made it up on my own, Sure I made plenty of mistakes as we all do. I raised my little caterpillars the best I could. And they turned out to be amazing people. With there own caterpillars to tend to.
But then a number of years ago I went in to my cocoon. This was a learning process.
And this brought about my wings.
I am now a butterfly free to enjoy all life has to offer.
The last 2 year have been awesome.
I have flown to new heights.
But now I feel a new change coming. As today I turned 49 Will my wings grow bigger ? I have been in deep thought the last few weeks. I had my hair cut and looked in the mirror.
Who is that person I see ? And where is the window cleaner ? Surly that is not me. HEHEHE! I now have inner wisdom. And know it is time to become complete. Will I find new wings ? Will I soar with the eagle? And dance with the angles & fairies in the garden.
I have had my life packed away for years.
And will wait till we see if we are moving in august.
Then I will build my enchanted garden. And enjoy heaven on earth again. Being Grammy
Or will I just show off my new bloomers?
HEHEHEHE. My Bloomin Tuesday post is below this one.

Crash has been really busy this year guarding the garden. So I gave him a break as I take photos of some of my blooms.
This is my elephant ear garlic in bloom.
I took some before dawn photos too. As I am trying to learn to take night photos.
I have Loosestrife 'Firecracker' (Lysimachia ciliata 'Firecracker') It has the yellow flower to the left of the photo. Center in ball form is Elephant Ear Garlic Right is Hosta Abiqua Drinking Gourd'
It adds a more enchanted look with water droplets here and there.
The bottom video on this post is the beginning of the dance I had to load it in 2 parts. The top one has grandson Jeremy in the dance near the end of the video. He was dressed like a Hawaiian pirate with a his Mohawk. He did really well. He and I started dancing when he was 2 . We would have lots of fun with our powwows. He is 9 years old now. You will see he is by his self but., at times he had 3 little girls following him around. He is still at that age where girls have koodees. I bought him and Dylan a wood flute so he can learn to play. Maybe next year you can come visit me and have some fun too.

The post below is a diffrent dance. Hope you enjoy them. Happy fathers day .
Every year we have The OSAGE RIVER POW WOW Here in Mid Missouri. Just in time to celebrate and bring in the first day of Summer. I can sit in my yard and hear the drums beat. Or go over and join in on the dancing. They dance and sing to bring in healing and peace. To celebrate life on this wonderful planet. But Friday we must have had a rain dance as the night ended with another storm. The rain is healing for the earth. But we have had so much the veggie garden is overwhelmed. In celebration of summer we should all plant a tree or a flower. Do something to clean up our environment. Or just say a prayer to help heal Mother Earth. Think twice before using herbicides or pesticides that will leach into our water system. Yes I am an organic tree hugger. I believe in nontoxic cleaners and herbal medicines. I try my best to not do more damage to the planet.
I am very guilty of going though life and visually over look most if not all my surroundings. As you can see from the first photo All I saw was a flower till I uploaded the photo. Then there appeared a bug. Upon a closer view it reminded me of a crab with pincher's. I went back for a closer look with my camera. It then had a bee in its grasp.
But this story is meant to be more than just over looking bugs. We some times over look people too. I have been in line standing next to a friend and neither of us seen each other, till my hubby said is that not ? Yep it was. Then there was a time My daughter and I were at a restaurant and there was a girl there that was very upset. My youngest daughter had no tolerance for her. As she knew her type and dismissed her as a person on drugs coming down. My self I saw a person with a problem deeper than drugs. I went and talker to her and found she had a very bad night. I offered to take her to the hospital or suggested she go on her own. It helped her just to talk it out with me and decide what was best for her. Both my daughter and a friend said I was stupid. And was putting my self in danger. I saw my self as keeping her from going to jail. As her anger was increasing by the minute. She threw a coffee cup to the floor. This was not as bad as she could have been. If she were left along to fume. As we left I told the waitress to keep her coffee filled up. Be nice to her. And leaver her alone. I gave them $5,00 And said tell her her coffee was free. Thanks to looking deeper. I hope this made a difference in her life. I am not telling this story to brag. I am sharing it in hope of others looking deeper at not only strangers. But at your own family. There are times we do not look at there actions to know they are in pain.

Maybe once a week I will share a virtual vacation and words of wisdom. From her gifts.
Todays daily wisdom from the book she sent bears this message. James 1:19, 20 My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.
And my place to visit virtually today is Wind River Mountains in Wyoming. WOW That looks like an awesome place.
