A blast from the past.

You are going to think I am crazy
But this is all in fun.
Jump in my time ship and take a trip back in the past with me.
Put on your seat belt we will be traveling at the speed of light. No we are not going to stop and smell the roses.

Oh no we went to far this is 1989 or so and my first house.
I raised this squirrel from a hairless baby.
Oh the mushrooms in the mulch pile
I so miss mountains of free mulch.
But we have to move on.
We are getting closer
There is my old fashion white with a yellow center rose bush.
I called it my buttercup rose

All we have to do now is enter that garden arbor.
With the wisteria vine.
Wham bam yikes were here 1999. When all was well with the world.
Here we find my favorite place in the world My old hosta garden.
Oh what peace and calm memories this yard brings.
The 1.12 acres were surrounded by trees and bush.

My Faerie garden was so quiet.
While my garden Gnomes moved from place to place tending to all my blooms.
Or were they drinking on the job. he he he,
Yes there were hostas every where.
This was a Feng shui garden.
A place for every thing and a calm flow throughout.
And hints of whimsy hidden every where

There is a bloom behind the water fountain. And a real dove in the bush above it.

Oh no Time to leave.

Wait one more stop.

Look I am young again and on a train in Arkansas with my friend
I think I will stay here for a while. This was fun.
But then so was 2003
When Hubby had so much fun with our first grandson.Jeremy.
And his hulk hands. Now who is the kid? Hum.

I guess this is the end of the story now back to reality.
I hope you had fun with me.
Best wishes Grammy
Now take a trip to Jeans and see what she has Bloonin.

What a trip down memory lane! I love to do this myself, especially when everything hurts and I remember being able to keep going for hours in the garden and at work without an ache or pain. When we finally move to a smaller place, at least I'll have all my blog entries to remind me of my huge garden. In the meantime, I guess I'll just limp around and do what I can!

Did you need a new camera, or did you have ghosts in your garden?

Thanks every one. mrsb My camera id fine. I took pictures of a printed copy and the flash created all my energy balls and the flash of light So it would look like my energy trail for my space ship. I had nothing in bloom in my yard her so This was just a silly attempt to lighten up my day.

Out of all of them, I like the last picture best! My family can't understand why I keep old garden pictures, but I know why I do, so I can go back and remember;), thanks for taking us on a 'trip' today:)
