Sky Watch Friday # 4

This is the middle of Missouri, USA

This was about 9:00 am this Thursday before I went to hibernate.
It is pouring rain as I type now at 6:30 pm.

View to the south east from my living room window.

The only photo editing I did to these photos was crop and paste and resize.
This was my view out of the kitchen window.

I had to add the fire to warm me up. LOL
This was the beginning of the week sky.
From my living room window looking south west.

Have a wonderful week my skywatch friends.

We've had to have a fire to warm us up this week as well. Fortunately we haven't had the ice you have. The last photo is absolutely gorgeous!

Like the fire. Good pics. Hope you are staying warm.

Your right, we probably do a form of hibernation during the winter. Especially in the country of snow and sleet.

This is just so fascinating! I must save a link to this page. When I'm in the middle of our miserably boiling-hot summers, I want to return and salivate over these photos (minus the fire please)
That photo of the sky is lovely!

It is not so cold here today! But it is just as dreary and drab looking only more so as your first photo...at least it has snow! Love that last shot.

somehow I always associate winter with hybernation and a time for solitude reflection. i'd do the same thing as you did if i had the same weather ... reading, writing, reflecting over a cup of steaming coffee ... nice photographs.

thank you for visiting and commenting on my skywatch post yesterday.

Just beautiful pictures. Is this with your Sony A200? I have the A700. I bought it mainly because Frank had Minolta lenses to fit it. I'm pleased with the pictures it takes... not pleased with my composition a lot though :-)
