Diet experiment

I was on facebook the other day and saw my niece posted she was loosing a pound a day. Using the product she was referred by her aunt in Florida.
I inquired. Her Aunt added me to her friends list.
She states she lost 75 pounds and is cancer free now.
I have done some internet searches. I included the links for you to look at more info on barley. But I am not including the link to the expensive product she took. I am going to buy local some of the ingredients.

The first products I looked at contained only powdered juice from barley and alfalfa, at a price of $39.50 for 8.5 oz.
The other product was $59.95
it was compared to $2.00 per a serving
Ingredients, powdered juice from   organic carrots, beets, barley leaves, Alfalfa, and brown rice syrup solids.

So I decided to go to a local health food store today.

I found powdered barley grass it was $16 per a pound. I bought 1/4 lb for $4.
 Links :
I read Click here
"Green Food" May Fight Several Types Of Cancer, Clear Up Skin Problems, And Heal Ulcers. So she was right. She had liver cancer."
Link 2
Barley grass is said to be the only vegetable on Earth which can supply all the nutrients which the human body needs from birth to old age.
My thought was wow,
So today I took 1 can of vegetable juice that contained "tomato, carrot, celery, beet, parsley. lettuce, water crest, spinach, " poured 1/2 cup added 1/2 tea spoon of barley. And both me and Hubby drank !/4 cup
I plan to drink this amount every morning. then try 2x a day

I realize a complete over hall of food should be done. But baby steps. I will only be test driving this for 30 days. And change nothing else.
Next month I will add Alfalfa.

There were many people saying the 2 expensive items along with a veggie rich diet cured lupus, chronic fatigue,   And many other aliments.
So I thought I would try the basic ingredients. And hope it improves hubby's heart and health issues. If we loose weight so be it.

Have a wonderful day and remember to laugh and play.Photobucket
