It's New

This is defiantly a story of something bad turning into something great.
Our stove bit the dust. I never liked electric stoves.
But we went shopping and at Lowes in the scratch and ding isle I found the bargain of the century.
Not only is this a convection oven but has the5th warming burner.
My gas cook top. I had to leave at my old home had the 5 th burner and I loved it.
This one too has both big burners in front. I like that too.
It is still on the dolly so I have not taken it for a test drive. But I hope cooking will be fun now. I can already tell with the glass top It will be wiped allot. It already has finger prints. So hubby made fun of me cleaning the top before it is even installed.
I am not a clean freak by any means. But like my glass table. That I pretend is not there.
I would walk by and see finger prints. I ended up covering it up. LOL

Any way Thanks Lowes you made my day. I have not had a new appliance since 1996.

The weather has been crazy tonight too. There were as many as 10 funnel clouds around us. We saw one to the south of us. But lucky only 1 touched down. north of us. The sky was green and bouts of heavy rain. But we had no damage. Yea!

Swiffer review and give away.

This was to be Amy's review of the
New Swiffer® Sweeper With the Wet Cloth and Dry Cloth
When I went to her house yesterday I found her on the couch nesting adding finishing touches to the dress she made Jozlyn for Easter .
I did not want to make her stop to do the product review. So I decided to try it out and help her at the same time.
So I test drove it on the pet area. I found it did a great job dusting, but the dog and cat food was pushed around like a broom. You still need a dust pan for the larger items. The wet cloth worked very well to my surprise. So I brought it back home to try in my bathroom. "Amy was like Are you taking that with you! I said HE HE HE YES! "

The kids wanted in on this action.They begged me to try it. They had fun and got a bit carried away.

product review 1 of 2

This is a free product review not a paid advertisement.
I received a Swiffer® Sweeper To try out.
I bought one of these in the dry form when my Grandson was small. back in 2003 maybe. He loved to run around and dust my hardwood floor with it. And it saved me allot of time & energy.
The one I received has both wet and dry pads.

I have had this for a while. I just decided my daughter would be a better judge for the product. So She will cover the review after she puts it to the test at her home.
You can learn more about it at http://www.swiffer.com/en_US/home.do

Here is Amy's put it together commercial. She had fun with this.

BENEFITS: The Swiffer Sweeper gives your home a complete clean compared to a traditional mop and broom. Wet Cloths are perfect for:

* Wiping up footprints and cleaning up what the pet tracks in
* Cleaning around your toilet, tub and on the bathroom floor
* Everyday spills and messes
* Taking care of scuff marks and tough dirt with the scrubbing strip

Dry Cloths are perfect for:

* Dusting electronics
* Getting up the dirt, dust and pet hair that the broom tends to flick in the air rather than picking up
* Dusting under appliances such as refrigerator, stove and dishwasher
