product review 1 of 2

This is a free product review not a paid advertisement.
I received a Swiffer® Sweeper To try out.
I bought one of these in the dry form when my Grandson was small. back in 2003 maybe. He loved to run around and dust my hardwood floor with it. And it saved me allot of time & energy.
The one I received has both wet and dry pads.

I have had this for a while. I just decided my daughter would be a better judge for the product. So She will cover the review after she puts it to the test at her home.
You can learn more about it at http://www.swiffer.com/en_US/home.do

Here is Amy's put it together commercial. She had fun with this.

BENEFITS: The Swiffer Sweeper gives your home a complete clean compared to a traditional mop and broom. Swiffer Sweeper can be used on dry, hard surfaces including: all waxable and non-waxable linoleum, vinyl, ceramic and finished wood floors. *Do not use on unfinished oiled or waxed wooden boards, non-sealed tiles or carpeted floors.

Wet Cloths are perfect for:

* Wiping up footprints and cleaning up what the pet tracks in
* Cleaning around your toilet, tub and on the bathroom floor
* Everyday spills and messes
* Taking care of scuff marks and tough dirt with the scrubbing strip

Dry Cloths are perfect for:

* Dusting electronics
* Getting up the dirt, dust and pet hair that the broom tends to flick in the air rather than picking up
* Dusting under appliances such as refrigerator, stove and dishwasher

I love those. I dust furniture with the one. and I use dry and wet covers on the one to do my bathrooms and entry hall. The really keep the dust from flying.....and give you a shock at how much hair is hidden around the edges of your bathroom floor. Yuk.

Hey...that product review sounds good... I guess I'll buy the that one for my home. Hope it'll keep the dust from flying.

With 3 males sharing my bathroom, I love the Swiffer wet mops, lol! I try to be earth friendly, and don't use many disposable things like this, but I won't give up my wet mop pads!

Amy made a great commercial. I hope she likes it as much as Betsy likes the one we got a couple of weeks ago.

I'm not sure about the wet sweeper, but I know the Swiffer Wet Jet was making pets sick at one time. But this report is from several years back, and they may have corrected the problem by now. Still, it pays to read the label.

Hi MOJO,
I too received an email about this. I found it listed at http://www.snopes.com/critters/crusader/swiffer.asp. As a false rumer.
I received a reply from The person who sent this to me stating.
Swiffer knows that people have heard this rumor and is trying to spread the word to pet owners that it is a rumor. We double checked with our client to be sure and Swiffer wanted us to pass this message along.

The Swiffer WetJet system and other Swiffer product ingredients are safe to use around pets. The safety of these products, when used in accordance with label instructions, has been confirmed by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), independent veterinarians and veterinary scientists.

Independent veterinarians and scientists evaluated the Swiffer WetJet and Swiffer Sweeper Wet Cloths cleaners and found them safe. In fact, Swiffer products have been safely used in over 15 million U.S. homes--many with pets--for nearly five years. The ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) has even posted information about the safety of Swiffer products on their site (www.aspca.org).
