My kitchen window

This was Sunday the last day of Dec . I mean Nov.
Where is my brain.
I heard a noise like birds arguing.
I look out the window to find a small bird.
In the other window.

It is a Carolina-Wren Here is a close up.
The picture would be better If I were to clean this window.
Humm. Not today.

Next thing I see is snow. Burr.
Here is the view today. Burr. Not allot of accumulation but still snow. And look at my view another house is almost ready. This is the 3rd house to be built. 1 per year. This was just a field.

It looks almost the same out my window, snowy and cold. I even have the same smudges on the glass. Ha! I guess we'll have to wait till spring to fix that huh?

We dodged the bullet last night. We were supposed to get a nasty storm that promised freezing rain and sleet but it stayed warm enough to just get rain. Right now the sun is out and I'm thinking of going out.

I have nightmares about looking out my window and seeing a house being built. I doubt it will ever happen. That's one positive of living in a swampy area.

LOL, last day of Dec? You must have a very long Dec night ahead.

Loved the pic of the carolina wren. He's cute. My windows are not clean either - buy what the heck? The snow will clean them. LOL!

I LOVE all the wrens! They have such personality. This is the first pic of a Carolina wren I've seen! Thanks for sharing. Seeing as all we have is dreary, gray rainy days it's nice to see pics of snow to remind me that it is truly winter!
