This is the back side bottom is a very large kitchen dinning family room.
Complete with laundry area. The back wall has a gas burning fire place with stone on the floor. This is all styled 1840+ The porch has a willow wood chair and lounge.
There are a number of whimsical things here.
There are several and a barn that I did not walk to see.
This house out side has me written all over it. My family loves it.But
It has a number of negatives.
One it is in the real country so, no Dsl, No cable no close shopping.
A gravel road . I kinda wanted country in the city. It has a basement.
All bedrooms are upstairs. The entrance to the property has a house in the center of this property and lots of dogs. We were surrounded. And herded back to the right gravel road. lol. Yes that is a mastiff. There were other dogs not pictured. These lists are not finished yet. We need to look again.
Positives. This property is vacant .It is a farm. It is livable, It has less junk to get rid of than the other one..Maybe. We did not see the barn. It is so quaint. It has great porches. It has 5 doors to the out side. Large bathroom. , 2 living rooms , 3 large bedrooms and a 2nd bathroom up stairs. The room sizes are all large. main floor laundry.Family room. Lots of out buildings.
This time if I do this. It will be diffrent.
I just wrote a letter to the present owner. I made an offer to buy before tax sale.
So no waiting 1 year to be disappointed.
I will get a yes or no. And not have to play games.
The tax sale is no get rich quick thing. You can loose money on title search and legal fees, certified letters all are required for you to spend at your own risk.
I am not sure I want to live here yet.
Location, Location, Location .
Have a wonderful day and remember to laugh and play.

That mastiff looks a little bit daunting....
I like to take walks and am always petrified when a large dog comes from nowhere barking and snapping at me.
I hope it works to your advantage.
I love this place! You must wait til you hear, this may be the other door that opens!
Do the goods outweigh the bads?
Good luck in your continuing dream quest. I know you will make it!
Interesting.....
I think you're smart to write the owner a letter before the tax sale. It's better for them and better for you!
Hope things work out.
Oh Grammy---just think what you can do to that place and how you can fix it up the way you want to... There are so many possibilities.
What about Hughes Net (or something like that) for connections...
Keep us posted and good luck.
Hugs,
Betsy
Praying for you sweetie, love you.
WOW! I love prowling in old houses! Maybe I should just go to the tax records and prowl. I see you will be taking questions, my question is "How am I going to find the time to come and visit you??"
