Julie and Julia

This is a movie I just watched.
Meryl Streep plays Julia Child and Amy Adams plays Julie Powell,
She is the one who wrote this story of her cooking and blogging and living a life over the top of a pizza restaurant.
This is based on 2 true story's.
Meryl Streep is awesome in this film. She shows such a passion for ever thing she touches. The food she is cooking and the fresh produce she buys. All her emotions come through as if every thing in life is incredible.
This rubbed off on Julie Powell. As she read Julia's book and cooked her recipes.
It was like Yum! I just had a candy apple and savored each bite. This was the way they lived there life. It seemed true bliss and a passion for the senses.
All I can think of is what if we lived this way. every moment is bliss.
Is this truly a TV fantasy or can we really savor each moment of each day.
And truly feel as though every bite of food is yum. like chocolate.
I very much enjoyed this film. it gets an A in my book.

Have a wonderful day and remember to laugh and play.Photobucket

Now I must see the movie. Good review.

Yes, life can be that way. We just have to make it happen.

The simple joys are what makes my life wonderful, the sound of the wind, the touch of the sun, the taste of chocolate melting in my mouth.

I sooo want to see this but I don't know if I can drag Hubby to it. He really does like most chick flick, yet ya'll won't catch him admittin' it.

Have a wonderful weekend filled with many blessings!!!

Haven't seen it yet, but I will. I was always a Julia Child fan, and enjoy Meryl Streep, too.
I still watch PBS reruns of Julia, and come away inspired each and every time. Bon Appetit!
