BLOOMING TUESDAY

My tulips are blooming.

I put out a few tomatoes out yesterday. I then covered them with soda bottles and surrounded them with cow manure and top soil .

Look they are still alive today! It works! We have had lots of rain and cold. Hosta's are coming up too.

You grow baby girls in your garden, too? Do they transplant well?

Love the blossoms in your garden. Looks like Spring has sprung! Little Jozlyn is adorable -- a little angel to be sure!

When do you get tomatoes? My tomato plant has marble size tomatoes right now, and I'm hoping I can get a few more before the weather gets above 90 and they quit setting. We are supposed to get to 90 next Saturday!
Cute baby photos,

The soda bottles are really handy here where we need every little trick to extend our growing season. They also help keep the cats from playing with the transplants.

Jozlyn gets my vote as the cutest flutterby baby.

Love the pix! Thanks for sharing your baby with us. What are in the hanging buckets in the background where the pix of the bags are?

p.s. what state are you in? I am amazed your hosta's are already peaking through!

I'll bet you always knew Jozlyn was an angel! I successfully used plastic bottles during cold spells when I had a vegetable garden.

The baby pics are adorable. Loved the angel wings! Your tulips are very pretty and the tomato plant protection is a great idea to get them going early. Have a wonderful day!

I love your 'bag-o-garden', I think I have a spot where I'm going to do the same.
Your plants look happy and healthy:)
How are you going to stake them?
(thank goodness we didn't get the freeze expected and our tomatoes are doing great:)
Jozlyn is really filling out isn't she?
She has my vote for sure:)

What a beautiful little angel! I haven't seen any tulips yet but yours are lovely. We don't plant anything outside until the end of May. The tomatoes are looking good. Welcome back! Jean
