Dandyville. USA

This should be the new name of my town.
I looked out my door today to see fog in the field and dandelions everywhere.
Happy blooming Wendsday!
This is all I have blooming.

Go check out Jean blog for more blooms.
I know I am a day late, and a dollar short.

Your dandelions are ahead of mine. Mine are still the beautiful yellow blossoms.

I've had an inordinate amount of dandelions this year too. Way too many for my liking! ;o) I just noticed that you have a grandbaby due the end of July. I, too, have a grandson due -- on July 29th! We'll be celebrating together!

Dandyville? Too cool! My yard has its share also. Where are the little dandylion blowing children? Guess I'll have to go blow them myself:)

A bunch of children would have a hayday in your yard blowing those seed heads everywhere! lol Happy Bloomin Wednesday Grammy. Better late than never. ;)

My granddaughter thinks the dandylions are beautiful. She pointed out all the lawns with lots of yellow flowers. I'm sure she'd love your lawn too! Jean

It does seem like a bumper crop this year. I remember my children picking the flowers for me to put in a vase... blowing the seeds pods.

Grammy---Love the new name... You could call your blog, Visits to Dandyville Valley!!!!!! ha ha

We HATE dandelions---and constantly are digging them up. If you leave them, there will be six times more next year. Those little white thingees that we used to 'blow' as a child make new dandelions. Yipes!!!!!!

We do use some kind of fertilizer in our yard that kills dandelions---so that helps some... BUT--some creep in anyhow!!!! ha

Hugs,
Betsy

Looks a lot like my yard. :) My son has begun picking EVERY dandilion he sees, handing it to me and saying, "this is for you, Mommy." It melts my heart, and I'm suddenly in love with weeds. I think your blooms are beautiful. :)

I guess Dandyville is an appropriate name. We try our best to keep dandelions out of our yard, so you have my permission to keep these.
