Lessons learned

I am thankful for the lessons I have learned.
Ecclesiastes
Happiness Sadness and the meaning of life,
A Time for Everything
To every thing there is a season, and a time for every purpose.
I am thankful I was reminded of this a few minutes ago.
When I was at pepper lady's blog. .She spoke of the song turn turn turn. By the Birds.

I am thankful for the lesson I learned from the Book
The Hiding Place
it is a true story of Corrie Ten Boom.

I first learned of her here on Thankful Thursday. Another blogger planted the seed of knowledge. I wish I could remember her name. I went back to Feb 11, and looked but gave up as not many put in there link for the post only. It is not easy to go back in every blog to find Feb 11 . So please let me know if it was you who posted about her. So I can thank you for planting this seed of knowledge.
I told my friend Cinda about it and she gave me her extra copy of the book.

I can now see why you should be thankful for bad things.
She was thankful for the flees because they kept the German solders away from them.
This video tells her story of how her family hid Jews in a secret room, and saved over 100 baby's,

Amen to what you said! There is indeed time for everything and it is so assuring that our Father is behind all this "time" and "seasons" of our life.

God bless you grammy :)

Turn, Turn, Turn is a great song. I've always liked it. I had the honor of meeting Corrie Ten Boom many years ago. She was a wonderful person and a very inspiring speaker.

Thanks for reminding me about the story of Corrie ten Boom's Sanctuary of the Fleas. Truly God does have a purpose for everything that happens in a believer's life. It is hard to remember that sometimes ...

My mother took me to see the Hiding Place when I was six. That and seeing on of the concentration camps made a huge impact in my life. My brother in laws great aunt was a Christian Jew who died in one of those camps. I am so thankful that I have a God worth dying for.

Blessings Always

And I am thankful for you! You have taught me to be in the moment. To live each day with love and happiness - not to dwell in darkness. You have encouraged me to let go and let god.
Blessed Be
