THANKFUL THURSDAY 15

Courage is the theme for today
I am very thankful I have plenty of this in my life now.

Today I am thankful that the results on my MRI showed a problem.
I will be having endoscopic surgery on May 29,2009.
They found a mass that takes up my spynoid sinus cavity.
I chose to do this as it will prevent me from having bilateral blindness.

I have to see an eye neurologist on May 27 to determine if my current vision can be corrected. This mass can explain my chronic fatigue, head aches, that makes me sleep so much lately. This may be the answer to some of my issues.

I am thankful I have the courage to say yes I will., as if this did not bother me. I do not worry about it.
I just read and learn more . I have watched many utube videos on how this is done.

So I am thankful for the knowledge of the Internet.
I am thankful I can do a bit at a time on my garden.
I am thankful hubby made dinner tonight too.
Please do not take this in a negative way.
At times like this.
My only wish is I had a mom who would come take care of me.
Do you ever miss being a kid with no responsibility?
I miss having dinner made and the house clean.

I'll be praying for God's healing to be on you.

Oh yes, I do wish at times I was back to a kid again with no responsibilities. Now we know why Peter Pan wanted that. LOL!

God bless you!

You are certainly more courageous than I am. I quite often think how nice it would be to be a kid again, but then I realize that things weren't always so easy back then either. Praise God that you know Him and know that you are not alone.
Happy TT!

Grammy,

Thank you for your kind words about me looking good at my weight. Some of the pictures you looked at might be old, and at times pictures can hide what you really are. I actually am about 20-30 pounds overweight even if I don't look like it. However, my journey to lose weight is not really about just being what the world calls skinny. It is about health to, as I have some health related issues because of the way I have eaten all my life.

I would dare say that even I was at my perfect weight right now, I still have issues that I have to work through with the Lord as it deals with food. Food has been an idol to me my whole life, and I have not honored God with this part of my life.

Althought weight loss is something I would like..my journey is much bigger than that... I hope when I near the end of this journey to break free from food addiction I will have a whole new mindset about life and food.

Thanks for you kind comments, and I just wanted to fill you in on some details you may not have known..

Blessings

Blessings Grammy,
May Our LORD be with you daily and as your day of surgery draws close, may He be closer giving you the courage, healing, guiding the hands that treat you & perform the surgery. Bless the hands of the husband that prepares your dinner, and your hands that garden. It's be so nice to have a mom to take care of you, but you have Father God always keeping watch over you! Keep standing in trust!

Thank you for your care for me & suggesting I use a scarf! I just don't plan to leave here in the public or in confined spaces. What a great quote from Shaw! Off to play some since it's Children's Day here...just put up another post about it! Enjoy your garden & though the internet is so wonderful with its quick knowledge, don't trust everything, be careful!

Please keep us posted as you are able & the day grows closer! Or just let Denise know to post a prayer at the Lighthouse for you!

Bless you Grammy, I'm sure they will get their supply soon. Please do not worry! Your words are so true that you left for me about fear being worse. We have nothing to fear. Thank you for your sweet offer but it would cost more to send one than the price of a carton. I'm not worried. If I was living with a dormitory of kids that were sick...I may be more concerned. Like I wrote, it's more in the heavy populated area of Mexico City. They even stopped the
cruise ships from coming here. I'm pretty safe. Thanks again for your concern & visit.

Oh yeah, I still wish to be a kid and have my mom tuck me in at night. Especially when I'm in pain. Or sad.

I think you have a wonderful attitude to your health problem and upcoming surgery. I hope everything goes smoothly and you will be back on your feet with renewed energy soon!

Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers...
