Freedom

This is the topic chosen by Lynn she is hosting this weeks Thankful Thursday.

I am very thankful that we all have the freedom to believe the way we want to.
I am also thankful for all those who gave there time and life for our freedom.
I also am glad there are still some places left in America where you can do what you want on your own property.
You can express the way you feel and wear the kind of cloths you want.
Where women are no longer controlled unless they allow it to be.
We have the freedom to speak and learn.
We take allot for granted.

I am thankful I have a choice to be happy..

Have a wonderful day and remember to laugh and play.

Great post, Grammy!

I used my Sony pocket camera for the latest photos... the ones of the grasshopper and any since my surgery. I can't hold the A700 yet. Tell me more about the close up lenses.

Amen!

Though this country isn't perfect, we are able to express our feelings about it openly and honestly without fear. When you look at what is happening in other parts of the world, like Iran, right now, it can give you a real idea of how lucky we really are!

I'm thankful for those freedoms too. And isn't it great that as women we can have freedoms that many years ago never had?

I had to bring your comment here....As bad is temporary and will pass. I LOVED this statement..amen sis..I think of that scripture of not looking at the things that are seen (the temporal) but the thing that are not seen (eternal value)...Thank you so much for sharing this thought with me...

I agree Grammy. We in this country do take alot for granted. We need to cherish our freedoms and pray hard for those who went before us to give us this freedom.

Have a great 4th.
Hugs,
Betsy
