Full moon FutureCast

With tonights full moon we will run out side an howl at the moon.
Just kidding. hehehe
A penumbral lunar eclipse will take place today on July 7, 2009, the second of four lunar eclipses in 2009. This eclipse will only enter the southern most tip of the penumbral shadow and thus will be very difficult to observe visually.
Read moor about it at wickpedia.
A lunar eclipse is an eclipse which occurs whenever the moon passes behind the earth such that the earth blocks the sun's rays from striking the moon.

In the garden today We will have a fresh salad ,
And side shoots of broccoli are a ready I should have picked them yesterday.
But we went to St. James to get our grandson Cullin.
Now for the near future. I see a carnival coming to town.
Yea! It's the Miller Co. Fair.
I can see this through my bedroom window.
It is not quite this close I used a 75-3oo mm lens from the side yard for this photo.
In my garden I will soon have a Minnesota midget melon.
My 2nd crop of corn in top soil bags are taking off quite well.
A zucchini is getting ready to ripen.
And the first crop of corn is ready to drop its tassels.
Each tassel will fertilize a strand on the ear and create a kernel of corn.
The blackberry's are starting to ripen.
And Reba is taking a nap in the old doll buggy. My friend found this and gave it to me. It is in need of repair but I love it. She also gave me a box full of dolls.

Cats always find the best places for a snooze, don't they? It would be nice to find a place that cozy on a crappy rainy day that would fit me!

Hi Grammy, Your fresh veggies and fruit look SO good. I know they taste MUCH better than what I buy in the store. I do go to the produce market sometimes when I want some really farm-fresh veggies/fruits.

Looks like the carnival is there just for you and your family... Have fun!

Your baby granddaughter will love those dolls and that doll carriage when she gets a little older.
Hugs,
Betsy

Oh, I can just taste that fresh salad. Yummy! Your garden looks very inviting, good thing I live many miles away! And that grandson of yours is a real cutie, enjoy the visit with him. And the kitten looks like he has decided to claim the carriage as his own.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and your comments are always appreciated.

Your garden is doing great. A grandson is visiting.. how nice. Reba is cute in the buggy.

Frank is talking of getting me a teleconverter to use with my 300 lens. We'll go to the local camera shop to see if it works well before purchasing. You'll have to tell me more of your new lens.. send me an email if you like. I can't hold the A700 camera yet. I am up to the Sony f717.
