We went to open night at the fair , both Jeremy and Cullin were with us. We watched the derby. There was crazy 8 smash up fun. But then we went to the live stock show.In the gates there were goats, calf's & chickens. And we watched the ewes compete. The boy love this. They said it was better than the derby. I was surprised to see sheep. I have not seen many in our area. This is nothing like a dog show where the animal walks on a leash. There was some on pushing the ewe from behind and some one holding it buy the neck pulling. It was funny.

Honestly, I don't know how we got by before the internet. It's tough finding things locally....sometimes Ebay or Amazon are the only way to find things.

Nothing like a county fair. We used to show our miniature horses. There is nothing like hearing a whole crowd go ahhhhhh!
You may have to get sheep now so the boys can show them next year.
Thanks for the memories you brought me of the county fair when I was growing up. I never exhibited sheep but I did show livestock.
