Thanks for visiting - if I make a cake, I will be sure to Show and Tell ALL ABOUT IT!

I posted recently about my reuseable bags, and had a giveaway of a very cute one. I love to use them.

What an amazing toaster!

Thanks for sharing.

Yay good for you!! I have a couple of those Aldi bags and we use them for toting around all sorts of stuff.

What a great example of conservation...I dislike having to discard and buy new items after a few years of use.

Hi!
Love your toaster. It seems I'm always buying a new one every few years. They just don't make things like they used to. Take Care!!

I was just describing to my husband last week the toaster that my grandmother used to make toast for me as a child (in the 60's)when I would sleep-over at her house. Now I can show him and my kids what I am talking about! You are right about no automation- I remember some burnt toast in those days. Thanks for the memories:) PS- I am known as Grammy also to our first grandchild!

I love using my own bags when I remember to put them back in my car! I use an old toaster as well, not as old as yours, don't they work wonderful! Yours is awesome! Do you have homemade jam on your toast :D.

Have a fantastic friday!

I should start saving and using shopping bags. I do reuse my plastic bags, and I love paper bags-so, does that count? Our toaster died when we moved and we haven't replaced it yet, probably will for Christmas. I saw a show once about a man that collected and fixed and used old toasters, just amazing! I bet yours it VERY heavy! Cool! I hope everything is going well with you and your family:)

I have slowly accumulated several of these bags that most stores are now offering- and have begun using them also.
i have never seen a toaster like that! sounds great!
i like to 'recycle' by using found items instead of buying the 'new' stuff- they are ususally made better and are cheaper.

have a great weekend!

I LOVE IT!! I would burn it though, because I always put the toast in and do something else while waiting for it to pop!! Have a great weekend. Julie

I love to see so many people going green! Living out in the country as we do its easy to see how vital it is for us to care for the earth.

Thanks for visiting Borrowed Freedom.

I love the toaster! They just don't make things like they used to. Back then, household items were much more durable. Nice purchases!

Neat old toaster! They don't make them to last the way they used to!

Great that you use the recycle bags.

Glad your daughter is okay!
