A wonderful day.

We drove down to the over look to Bagnell dam what a view. This is the bridge the right side is The Lake of the Ozarks.
The left side is the Osage river.

How wonderful. every thing is still green and blue. Fall is not in full bloom yet.
This is such a peaceful area you can sit and fish on the river side.
Or just watch the water flow out of the flood gates. You will see lots of birds and fish lined up at the fall feeding.
It almost looks like you can walk on water.
There are so many large fish grabbing food that comes through the running water.

Oh No! This is the last time you will see this rock hill side
Progress is taken it away fast.
Back to the good new. Look what I got today. Bargain!
This is over 50 pounds
2 bushels for $20.00 What a deal.
So now I will learn to can tomatoes.
More good new. My daughter called tonight, They are moving down here.
So now She and her family will be with in 10 miles of me, rather than 160 miles away.
We will still be empty nester's but now we will get to see 1/2 of our family grow up.
Our other daughter is about 100 miles south east of us.
There is hope some day she and her family will move this way too.

Oh, I am sooooooo happy for you! Your daughter moving close by!!!
I spent the day today babysitting my granddaughter, as my daughter had her ultrasound appointment.
She's having a little boy in February.
I laughed and played with my 20 month old granddaughter and had fun. She really energizes me. I feel like I'm back at that stage where my children are little again.

You will have such fun - sharing your days instead of email or phoning.
Your pics are lovely. Nice drive. I hope hubby was cheered by it.
Hugs and more Hugs.

How exciting! I'm glad you chose to share this adventure with your hubby, and that your daughter is moving closer. My hubby works hard, and after work is a couch potato, BUT the grandchildren bring a sparkle to his eyes! I'm trying to find things for us to do that HE likes, even if it is watching tv!
