Magpie 67

 OH, DEAR !
WHAT MUST I DO.
I fuss and muss
I wear my best
Yet, no one dare, give me a stare.
Must I show my slip
Or even strip
I  DARE NOT SHOW MY HIP.
These men
Do not even grin
Will my life always be this nice ?
Not one look, let alone twice
I'll show them,
One day I will !
When I become the queen
They will never even be seen
Note:
Photo is The Banquet Scene with a Lute Player by Nicolas Tournier, 1625,
This is the first time I have ever written any thing this arrogant with humor before. But these are the words that spoke to me from the painting.

Hi Grammy~ I love the feminist twist! Women are becoming stronger and stronger, standing up for themselves. Can't wait 'til she's the Queen! The cadence and rhyme never flag, keeping up with the snappy tale. Great Magpie!
