Calf's are dropping

Looks like spring is on the way.
We were on the hwy toward Jefferson City, Missouri .Monday and saw 2 herds of cows with new baby's.
I did not have my camera with me. This hwy photo is from last Friday . But the next photos are on my daughters road. there are 2 new calf's in this herd.
This pond is awesome. I love the bride over the water.
A road view.
And the view
They also brought the cattle back across the road from me today. There is only maybe 5 or so now. So I do not know if he down sized the herd. or this is how he dose it as I think 1 bull and the rest are about 2 years + old . I was calling them teen agers last year. With a few moms left.

Have a wonderful day and remember to laugh and play.

I think the best thing in the photos is what's not there. No snow! I'll take that sun you promised to blow my way.

The cows here are still locked up in barns. Pasture days are still a long way off :(

I spotted the bridge before reading the caption. I have to appreciate the person who built it for what looks to to be 'for fun'. I can't imagine any other reason to build a bridge to such a tiny island wittout even a camp or cottage.

Great shot of the road with bare trees and farmhouse and the one with th ebridge. Looks like a fun trip with all the little calves on the paddocks.

That is a neat little bridge. I remember a couple of springs ago, driving around in the country, we drove by some cows and my grandma happened to catch something out of the corner of her eye, so we turned around and sure enough a momma was giving birth to a calf. I so wish I would have had my camera at the time.

I love the no snow in the pics too! Cute little bridge. Ah it must be spring if babies are being born. Bring it on!
