What I bought on my ride in the country

I got one of these new fangled devices that peal core and cut apples in no time at all.
OK, Why do I need one. Look 2 bushels of Golden delicious apples for only $10.00.
$5.oo a bushel What a bargain!!
This is so fast and safe. 12 apples in no time.
At first I thought $29.00 Was to much for this device.
Now that I used it it is worth it's wait in gold.
And time saving.
So I made my first apple pie
Oh, if you are like me keep band aids handy for cutting fingers on wax paper box.
Look I made a happy pie.
You are wonderful. I am so thankful for all my blog friends.
I wish I could give each of you a pie.
But for now please except my Virtual gift.

I love you all.
If you missed my road trip to get this please look below for the pictures.

Hi,
The apple peeler/slicers are great aren't they :-)
I find the slinky effect is also a novel way of getting children to eat more apples.
Your apple pie looks delicous :-)

Thank you for the pie! I love it!
Aren't those apple peelers just the handiest thing? Almost as handy as a pocket on a shirt.

I should get my daughter one of those peelers. I'd get more pie.

Thanks for the virtual pie. I ate the whole thing since they're not as filling.

I think the ride was worth it for those delicous looking apples.I have an apple peeler,we use it mostly to make potato rings to fry.Oh and I guess I got lucky cause I found mine at a thrift store for $3.00.

We go through about 1/2 bushel of apples every 2 weeks. I get them at a Mennonite farm and buy seconds for applesauce and pies. I have never used the corer-peeler. Your pie looks good but you had better make more to stay in practice ;-)

that apple peeler is too cool! And your boxes of apples, look good enough to eat! Did you eat all the peelings or throw them to the chickens?

What a beautiful happy apple pie! I bet you smile when you eat it!

Thank you for sharing:)
