THANKFUL THURSDAY 11

The theme at Grace alone this week is Basics.
She spoke of all the people in the world that have no heat or food.

I sure know how to be thankful for all the basics in life now.
In the last few years I have learned to be thankful we can flip a switch and have light.
And indoor plumbing. A roof over your head and food in the tummy.
I am so thankful so many good things are happening now.
I am tankful I can laugh and smile. And I love it if I can get you to join in on the happy thoughts.
I am thankful I found a good doctor yesterday.
Most of all I am thankful for my family and friends.

I am also thankful for Hershey's candy company. My friend called the other day and said she heard they were closing. I could not believe my ears. I searched the web and found it was 250 people being let go. They make peppermint patty's and fifth avenue bars. So I know candy is not a basic food. But could you imagine life with out it. And all those sad people who lost there jobs.

I never thought I would say this. But please buy candy.
Big hug to you all.

Peppermint Patties! You are my twin. I don't eat much candy, but can't resist them! They are low fat, right? I always feel sad when people around me lose their jobs too. Your list inspires me. Have a great day!

I am so thankful that you found a good doctor yesterday! PTL!!!

I tend to forget that we should be thankful daily that we can flip a switch and have light and heat...open the faucet and have water. Many people that have been hit by numerous storms this year will probably not take those things for granted again...at least, for awhilea anyway.

We don't always know how blessed we are with something until it's gone.

Lord, help me to be thankful daily and not wait until it's gone to be thankful that I had it.

Happy TT!

I cant believe that the Hershey candy close their business, how sad and the people who lost their job. I hope and pray that the Lord will provide their needs including another job offer somewhere.

Hi Ernine I love reading your thankful thursday it is always humbling and encouraging.

It saddens my hearing about people loosing their jobs because I know of the stress and anxiety of paying bills and making ends meet.

The Australian company Bonds put off 1850 people this week, not good

Take care

Oh we do have a lot to be thankful for. I hope hershey's doesn't close. I think chocolate is a basic - it chases away the blues. And gives us energy.
Hugs
p.s. baby was supposed to be induced today - but the hospital was full, so they cancelled. Can you believe? Mother is practically in hysterics!
