Hello friends!
Time is flying. We really did not have much of a summer. I have never seen one so full of rain and cool temperatures till now.  But it seems like fall is also full of rain. Yet, I have spring fever. I keep thinking and planning what to plant next spring. I have a bit of a winter garden started in this window you can see in my video.

I also have ordered and received some (TPS) True potato seeds. They come from many different types of potatoes. These are not commercial potatoes I ordered. They are from Tom Wagner's collection of potato seed that he has been developing over the years. I plan on letting my grandson Jeremy, take some to school and grow them in the green house there. He has an agriculture class at his high school. And he is part of the FFA. (Future farmers of America. His school is in the top 10% in the FFA. So I see this are a very good experience for him.
He has hope to be a Veterinarian and/or farmer. He loves science and math among other things. So he is doing well. He is also staying with us now. So I am no longer an Empty Nester. But, I am not giving up my name, just yet.

Have a wonderful day and remember to laugh and play.Photobucket

Good on you Jeremy. I wish you well in your endeavours. As for being an empty nester. I've decided the nest is never empty they just like to come and go a lot!

Hi Ernie - what a green thumb you have! Thanks for sharing your tips with us!

I love how the pineapple plant is taking up the whole window. You must have patience. I've tried with pineapples, but they just got mouldy and I threw them out. Perhaps I should have waited longer.

Nice watering system as well. Upside down soda bottle with the cap off and some batting material to soak up the water (if I understand correctly).

Jeremy sounds like a wonderful young fella! And I love that they teach farming or agriculture at his school.
You guys rock, Grammy!
Hugs
