Is anything true any more?

I found this post on Facebook today.
I was shocked. I posted a video below. It will say more than I am writing. But I am posting the links in the words, where I looked fore more info.

This first one is the link from the FB Post

FDA Finds Majority of Herbal Supplements at GNC, Walmart, Walgreens, And Target Don’t Contain What They Claim – Instead Cheap Fillers Like Wheat And Soy Powder

I did a search with those words and only found 3 pages with the same words.

I searched snopes in front of the statment above. No info to say true/not true came up.

I searched the words (gnc supplements fake)

I found this video

It was a PBS news re posted by that channel.

A link to this was found there

It took me to this page for NY times.

I ask myself and you. How do we trust what we read or buy?

What do you think? Is this enough to make you think twice about believing everything you read? Or buying anything any more.  I do not mean to instill fear in you like some of the FB posts. I am venting and hope you question things more too. We seem to live in a world of shock now. Where we use to be innocent, and trusted everything.

There is no 'standard' for a company to have for most supplements. The capsules and softgels we take are a modern version of the 'snake oil' or 'elixir' that our grandparents used to buy.
Sorry your bubble has been burst. It's not about if it's good for you - it's about the money.
