HAPPY BLOOMING TUESDAY !

In my town in Missouri, This would be a weed garden.
Because you will find these along the highway growing freely.
This is a native prairie garden with a twist.
I bought these plants and they are not quite the same as the native ones.

But my purple cone flower is a bit different as it a double decker.

And this Little Shasta Daisy is host to all types of critters.

Crash has been really busy this year guarding the garden.
So I gave him a break as I take photos of some of my blooms.

This is my elephant ear garlic in bloom.

I took some before dawn photos too. As I am trying to learn to take night photos.

I have Loosestrife 'Firecracker' (Lysimachia ciliata 'Firecracker')
It has the yellow flower to the left of the photo.
Center in ball form is Elephant Ear Garlic
Right is Hosta Abiqua Drinking Gourd'

It adds a more enchanted look with water droplets here and there.

BLOOMING TUESDAY

My tulips are blooming.

I put out a few tomatoes out yesterday. I then covered them with soda bottles and surrounded them with cow manure and top soil .

Look they are still alive today! It works! We have had lots of rain and cold. Hosta's are coming up too.
