Desire

Desire is this week ingredient for the joy diet
This is a book bloging group hosted by Jamie Riddler.
I have learned from last weeks.topic truth.
I instantly jumped to the larger picture.
My answers to the questing . What are you feeling should have been happy.
But with the question of what hurts. This lead me to a negative level of my past.

So now I have learned of levels. Start with baby steps. With desire I am not going to jump into the top level of wants. I am not going to let fear of something big stop me from realizing, We all have desire. Small to bolder size. Just deal with the level you are comfortable with. Don't just jump to extremes Unless that is your true desire.

Anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
This is a fact.
In my past I have some how been able to accomplish most of my desires.
I had the perfect home for me.
I had my own business, and still do If I could be well enough to work it.
I have loving, caring, fun kids.
And awesome grandkids.
In the past I was able to decide what I wanted and worked hard to get it.
Or learn how to do it my self.

For a while now, I have learned to be content with what I have.
I did not want to go back to desire. As it was not possible, to make it happen.
But I have now learned. You have to have some form of desire in your life.
Or you will not even get out of bed ,with out the desire to go through the day.

I am thankful for this knowledge.

Here is my list of desires for this week.
I have some wonderful friends back in the St. Louis area.
But I wish I could find a friend here.
Any one want to move here? "hint"

Health, continued joy and happiness, for my self and every one.
My hubby to desire to travel and live life as he once did.
That I complete the renovations needed to this house.

Have a wonderful day and remember to laugh and play.Photobucket

You will make new friends, wonderful people just like you.
And you are right, you need desire to help the manifestation process begin.

What a great chapter -- it reminded me too, to take small, gentle steps. Like Jamie said last week, savor the desire. Enjoy exploring your desires. I'm sure you'll meet a friend. How long have you lived in your area? It can take a couple of years after a relocation to meet your peeps.

Changing desires...this is true. Some desires we have realized which leaves room for new desires.
And true..life is about desire..it isn't living if we have absolutely none at all.
It's about pebbles and baby steps...may your desires be fulfilled!

Beautiful thoughts.... that desire is a necessary ingredient to living fully, to stepping into our own light and experiencing joy... I can relate to the being happy with what we have, and when we stretch into our deeper desires, we can be that much more grateful!

Thanks for sharing your journey with desire this week. I like what you say about needing some desire or why get out of bed each day, I guess that can be seen as the simple desire to live your life. Very powerful!

I can so relate to your desire for a close friend. Since moving here 5 years ago I have missed the closeness of friends back where I came from. It is hard - but I am finding some kindred spirits online.
May all your desires be fulfilled!
(Thanks for stopping by - I love hearing from you.)

It's true it can be hard to let our desires come into the light of day. There are so many ways our desires can be acted upon, and perhaps taking action rather than actually achieving them is the point. Remember that it is more about the journey than the destination. I hope that your week of creativity will help you find small or big ways to move toward your small and big desires.

I so know what you mean - ie being ok with being content and not wanting to let desire come knocking. But it is worth it :)

And thank you for commenting on my blog :)

We are alike because alot of our desires have been fulfilled. Being this age we ask "and then what?"
and find Yes we still desire.
love to you

You are right. Desire can be found in small and big ways. We are in control of the dose of desire that we experience. I wish you great success in achieving what you desire.
