Angel in disguise

In this world we live in, there is beauty every where we look.
We some times forget that there is beauty in every person we meet too.
A simple smile
a simple hello.
You may never know.
That person that just walked by.
May have been an
Angel in disguise.

Another Angel Gets Its Wings

There's an angel in us all
A little voice inside that answers every call
There's a joyous sound resounding in your heart
A ray of hope that shines as bright as any star

Remember...

For each and every bell that rings
Another angel gets his wings
So show you care and share your light
And help an angel fly tonight

An act of kindness, a tender smile
These little blessings seem to make it all worth while
So try and do what's ringing true inside your heart
by Trisha Yearwood
I did this virtual painting last night there are lots of hidden faeries a a few other thing to find . This is my gift to you today.

Thelma Louise Shanks
In 1976 she became my God mother, when I decided to become a Catholic.
She was my best friends mom, and lived around the corner from me. I received a call today from Karen, my friend and her daughter. She said "her mom passed Dec 7. 09, and her husband is on life support. He had stents put in and something went wrong." So my friend is deeply suffering at this time.
She need some healing energy sent her way.
And I light a candle for her Mom . Photobucket
I will miss her Mom but I am so glad she is no longer suffering from colin cancer.
I do believe she has her wings and is free to fly.
She was an Angel here on earth as well. All her life she took care of people. She raised her 3 kids, 2 grandsons and took care of her mom, who is now age 97. She was 70. And such a loving, kind soul.
She will be missed.

This is an article I found in my local paper.
She write about loneliness and how to deal with it.
She uses information from a book written By
Norman Vincent Peale
I think I have every book he has written.
You should click on the photo to enlarge.
if it is not big enough for you to read. right click on the enlargement and save to your computer to enlarge more.
It would be wonderful if all the lonely people were invited to christmas with others who care about them.

I did the art work on it.

Your room mate

WHO AM I ?
WHAT A QUESTION.
Yet most of us ask it.
The other day at Google library, I was reading a preview of a book called
The Untethered Soul By Michael A. Singer,
Here is a excerpt.
"To attain true inner freedom, you must be able to objectively watch your problems, instead of being lost in them.
No solution can exist ,while you are lost in the energy of a problem.
There is a part of your being that can let go of your melodrama.
You start by taking a seat and watch what is going on in your head.
You could say you have a room mate.
Quiet your mind.
Just sit there and listen to the chatter.

Why am I doing this . There is no one here but me.

See there is your room mate.

Basically your not alone in there, There are 2 distinct aspects of your inner being. The first is you. the awareness , the witness, the center of your willful intentions, and the other is that which never shuts up. if you could get rid of that part, even for a moment. the peace and serenity would be the nicest vacation you have ever had. "

Your room mate can ruin any thing at a drop of a hat. I don't want to be here. I don't want to do this. blah blah blah. My words lol"
Your inner room mate finds something wrong with every thing.
Once you decide this inner voice is ruining your life. You are ready for transformation.
This voice is like sitting on top of a volcano ready to erupt. My life is a mess just because this thing that lives in here with me has to make a melodrama out of every thing.
Once you have seen this, and learn to no longer identify with your roommate your ready to free yourself."
After reading this paragraph I was hooked. It was like a light bulb went on in my head. I knew it was time to put duct tape on the mouth of this voice, I named the master.
But I think it has helpers too. The risk taker, the fool. party hearty Marty, some have the old goat, who is so stubborn they fights with there self.

I also am looking at life differently now.
=======================================
In chapter 2 , He asked the question who are you?
Mom, wife grandma, friend. This is just a list of names people can call me.
It is not me.
School, Job, organizations. Are thing I did, they are not me.
What I conclude is I am a soul occupying a body.
I believe I am here to learn and teach.
As a kid I was unaware of my learning ability.
I went though life as it presented it's self.
I was not taught to make choices.
But some how I learned things the hard way.
My choices were not always right.
I allowed problems to consume my life.
When in reality, they came and went. And there is always a new one.
So now I have learned to not take them personally.
I deal with them and let them go as quick as possible.
I chose to no longer let them control me.
I have thought of writing a book.
It would have instructions on choosing a happy life.
As kids we are not taught to be happy.
We either are or are not.
We are told to pursue it. But happiness is not a person place or thing. It is an emotion, we already possess it. All we have to do is choose to use it. Laugh, smile. Love, enjoy.
We have no clue, that at any time we could choose to.
No matter where we are.
Every thing is a matter of choice.
Choose happy, fun, responsible, let go of things, or keep them as part of our life.
So let go of things you do not like, and embrace what you love.

MUM

On this 9th day of virtual gifts from me to you.
I give you my virtual MUM.
I created her on Dec 6,09 the same night I did the ship in the post below. I am very proud of both of these. They are my best work yet. I had the hardest time with the nose. This 2nd set of photos show the layers used to create her.

On this night I was dealing with a set back in my illness, and a device driver crashed in my main computer.
But I raged a bit on facebook. And went to work on my new laptop. This is the first real use I have had with it. Jeremy is the one who has been surfing and creating with it.
But I put my mind to work on using my feelings to create.

This virtual MUM is so compassionate, kind, loving, & warm.
You can see it in her eyes. & her expression.

A Mum is one who dose it all.
She is full of wisdom and makes mistakes.
She cares for you when you are sick and well.
She is rather swell.
A mum can do any thing she puts her mind to.
And adds lots of love to the stew.
Who would have knew, I would be a mum too.

Hope

Quotes
Allan K. Chalmers:

The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for.

Dale Carnegie:

Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.
Marion Zimmer Bradley:

The road that is built in hope is more pleasant to the traveler than the road built in despair, even though they both lead to the same destination.
Molly Ivins:

I still believe in Hope - mostly because there's no such place as Fingers Crossed, Arkansas.
Winston Churchill:

The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.

yule log

This yule log painting is a gift for you from my grandson Jeremy. You can say he taught me something new. With that knowledge I created this painting.
It is done with a knife tool, changing the curvature. It looks like a trowel, and would be a tool used in oil painting. Kids are so smart.

So for my virtual gift to you my friends on this 6th day of Dec.
I share the above art and Pizza roll ups.

They look like the yule cake as in rolled up way, but they are a meal.

Ingredients
Bread dough home made or thawed from the freezer.

meat of your choice. Peperoni, cooked burger etc.
shredded pizza cheese
1 can tomato paste
and other ingredient you like (onion, green pepper, etc)
Italian season
teaspoon of sugar
a pinch of fennel is good.

roll out the dough in 1 large rectangle like 8x12
take the tomato paste and stir in the sugar, it cuts the tartness.
or use your favorite spaghetti sauce.
spread on to dough, use only enough to cover lightly , leaving a little more than an inch from outside edge of dough.
sprinkle season, meat, veggie, cheese.
start on the shortest side and roll up the dough
lay on a cookie sheet with all seems down, tuck under each end. cut diagonal slits to vent the top
get your hand wet with water and pat the top. sprinkle with a bit of salt.
cook in preheated oven at 375.
Check on it in 30-45 min depends on oven,
it is like cooking a loaf of bread
let set it a bit before slicing.

or make this in smaller individual sizes. like hot pockets.
You can change this in so many ways by changing what you put inside.
Ideals
roast beef & cheese with a sprinkle of Italian dressing.
cooked chicken and veggie use a bit of soup for the sauce.
any thing you think would be good inside of bread.
just don't add to much liquid in sauce
