Uncle Quacker

This picture was picked as an EDITORS PICK on Mother Earth New Magazine. Little did I know setting in my unchecked email at yahoo, was a letter dated for Aug 13, 2008 from them. Stating They wanted to print it in there next issue. It is too late now but I was so thrilled just to be picked.
Maybe another issue.

Update 9-8-08 I just received an email. They were able to get a good picture off the web site. And they are printing a copy with my letter. in Oct-Nov issue of Mother Earth news. What a thrill ! I am not a photographer . Just enjoy taking pictures. But since I got a Sony a200 dslr . My photos are so much better quality. And the speed is like my 35 mm fast point and shoot. I love it. It was quit a high price but worth every penny. Saving on film cost alone. I can take 100's of photos and just keep the best. What a joy.

This pic was also picked as an
EDITORS PICK it has been in the top 10 since it was put up. At one time it was number 1 viewed it is now # 7 or 8. The day lilies are a gift from my Dear friend Mrs. Darst. And the cat is named Crash. He is my Cat-dog. I love him. He is a lynx point siamese/Manx. He runs like a deer, his front legs are shorter than the back. He reminds me allot of a bobcat. With his little bit of a tail. He don't know he is a cat. He will be 3 on Nov 4, 2008.

This is Crash with Reba when she was a kitten. She is a Lynx point Siamese not a Manx like him.
She has a full tail. And is not as friendly to strangers as he is. But she loves to chase bugs out side. She will be 2 years old April 1, 2009

What an honor! Your kitties have beautiful coloring! Almost bobcat colored. We have a manx cat, she has a little ball of fluff that really makes her look like a rabbit when she runs. Your daylilies are beautiful also!
